Yes, you can should have the Homebase inside your home. The Homebase has a function to show the signal strength between Base and Node[s] using an equivalent of a 5 Bar indication. For more information, refer to the Manual

The Homebase and Sensor Node communicate directly using LoRa (Long Range Radio) technology. This allows the system to operate completely standalone , with no need for 4G, satellite, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or any internet connection.

The Homebase can monitor up to 4 tanks simultaneously; additional sensor nodes are needed.

The water level is measured every 60 minutes and automatically updated on your X42 Tank display. This ensures you always see near real-time information about your tank levels and receive alerts.

The sensor is made from 304 stainless steel, ensuring long life and resistance to corrosion. The cable is made from PE (polyethylene), the same material used in drinking water bottles, making it safe for use in water tanks.



The maximum distance is 1km line of sight, including vegetation. The Homebase has a function that allows to view the signal strength.

The flickering is completely normal, it’s how the display keeps itself clear and accurate. The brief flicker helps remove any faint “ghost” images and happens automatically about every 60 minutes to maintain screen quality.
